MetaLAN Server 2.0.4.51 Release 20th April 2010

  MetaLAN Server is part of the MetaLAN Systems Management Suite. The MetaLAN Server service periodically scans your network and stores the information it collects for quick retrieval by MetaLAN Administrator and License Manager, software inventory tool. Compatible with Windows, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, Windows 7, 32bit and 64bit versions.

MetaLAN Server is the replacement for ProbeServer which can be upgraded without loss of data. It is recommended that read the installation guide before installing.

Enhancements:
  • Copy, Paste and Paste from file support added to computer filter.
    List can be line, comma or semicolon separated.
Fixes:
  • Fixed issue that could cause software titles with garbage names to be added the database.

MetaLAN License Manager 1.2.1.26 7th November 2009

 

License Manager is a free add-on for MetaLAN that simplifies licensing compliance. License Manager allows easy monitoring and reporting of installed software on your network. ProbeServer is required.

ProbeServer does not require regular maintenance to continue to work reliably. However, if you want to keep the database in tip top condition you can use the database tool. Remove old or redundant data like software titles that are no longer installed on the network.

This version is also compatible with MetaLAN Server 2.0.1.47

Instant Image Creator 1.0 trial

  A program that converts FloppyBase image files into stand alone self extracting and self creating image files. i.e. you don't need any other software to re-create the floppy disk. Image life limited to 30 days.
