Wake On LAN and Shutdown Tool
Access from
Control Panel
Use this tool to:
Wake a group of computers.
Cause an administrative shutdown or reboot of a group of computers.
Cancel an administrative shutdown on a group of computers.
Usage
Select the target computers by clicking the [Add Targets] button.
Select the action to perform in the Action panel.
If performing a shutdown/reboot, select the desired options from the [Shutdown parameters] panel.
Parameters
[Reboot after shutdown]
Causes the target computers to restart after the shutdown.
[Force Shutdown]
Causes the computers to shutdown ignoring any unsaved work. If this is unchecked, client interaction can cause the shutdown to fail.
[Seconds to Delay]
Is the amount of time the Message will be displayed on the target computers before the shutdown initiates.
The user must have the required privileges on the target computers to initiate a shutdown.
