Use this tool to:
- Remote deployment of monolithic MSIs.
- Remote un-installation of MSI based software.
Currently MSIs must be monolithic (a single file) and be capable of silent install
to
function correctly. Test a single deployment before pushing software to multiple
computers.
Usage
- To begin, select the desired computers using the [Add targets] button.
- Select an MSI package by clicking the "browse" button and locating the MSI file.
- Check the "Install" or "Uninstall" radio button to select the desired action.
- Click the "Run" button to begin the defined action on the target computers. A real-
time log will be displayed and the status of each target will appear in the main
window.
Double click a computer name in the main window to open a detailed MSI installation log.
Hammer Software plans to extend functionality of this module to allow the use of
executable setup files and installation for network shares in future versions of MetaLAN.
