Use this tool to:
- Manage processes on remote
computers.
Usage
Select a computer from the drop down list and click the [Connect] button to display the
processes running on the selected computer. You can click the [Update] button at any time
to refresh the list of processes running on the selected computer. You must disconnect from
the displayed computer before you can connect to a different one. You will be disconnected
automatically when you close the tool.
Process details
Click on any of the displayed processes to display details about the process. The Columns
menu allows you to select what details are displayed in the process list.
Auto update
The Update menu allows you to select auto update and to select the auto update period.
Starting and stopping processes
If a process has crashed or is consuming too many system resources you can stop (kill) it by
first selecting the process in the list and then clicking the [End Process] button or by
selecting End Process in from the Process menu. You can also start a new process on the
selected computer by selecting New Process from the process menu and then entering the
full local path of the executable file(The executable file must reside on the selected computer
you cannot launch it from a network location).
