Standalone Mode
To find and collect information about the computers on the network. First tick the
domains that you want to search in the Available Domains box. Now click the [Probe
Network] button to begin the network probe process.
If you have a large network you can increase the number of threads the
collection process uses to speed up the operation in settings. 
Unless this network probe process is completed there will be no computers or an
incomplete list of computers available in the other modules.
Server Mode
In Server Mode the [Probe Network] button will cause MetaLAN to refresh network
data from the Probe Server.
